Did you know that hosting a bowl-a-thon event at Zero-Proof is a great way to engage your supporters and raise money for your cause?
We did! Think about it: not only does a bowl-a-thon allow for you to bring everyone together to participate in a fun and family-friendly activity, but it’s also unique compared to the typical fundraising activities, like a walk or run making both your event and cause unforgettable.
How Does a Bowl-A-Thon Work?
A bowl-a-thon works by allowing teams to train and play together, creating friendly competition for a worthwhile cause. As teams train, engagement increases and this leads to an increase in group activities, which can build momentum towards your fundraising goal and any future fundraisers endeavors
This type of fundraising event is also a great way to bring in new, non-traditional donors. If your typical donors are adults between the ages of 35-50, plan a bowl-a-thon for kids and ask your current donors to get their kids involved. This will keep donors engaged and more likely to donate and participate next time around. But do keep in mind that bowl-a-thons do not always have to involve just kids; senior and family bowl-a-thon events are also popular.
Our staff will work closely with you to plan ahead by helping you to set and showcase your fundraising goals, identify your needs, wants and potential event dates, showcase your prizes, create a flyer with our logo, and share about your fundraiser on our social media.

Besides bringing family and friends together in the spirit of fun, Zero-Proof aims to engage our community members in a good cause, too. What cause are we uber passionate about?
Supporting Wisconsin’s residents who are struggling to overcome addiction and mental health conditions.
We do this by employing individuals who are in long-term recovery but have a hard time finding employment due to their history with addiction and/or current mental health conditions.
At Zero-Proof, we believe wholeheartedly that recovery is possible for everyone and that everyone deserves a second chance, especially our very own recovery community members.
In addition to this, we donate the majority of our proceeds to our partner organization, Project WisHope, a 501 (C3) nonprofit Recovery Community Organization, which aims to support, advocate, educate and mobilize Wisconsin residents who are impacted directly by addiction and mental health, and their family members, friends and allies.
This means, we’re dedicated to creating an atmosphere of care and community, so let us help you do the same for the cause you are most passionate about.
We are Alcohol-Free & Offer a Family-Friendly Vibe
As our name implies, we are an alcohol-free zone. This means there will be zero drunken situations to deal with during or after your fundraiser. (You can thank us later!) Zero-Proof is located on Muskego’s historic Pioneer Rd., and our retro-cool venue, which was built in the early twentieth century, is typically bustling with live music and laughter ensuring a one-of-a-kind experience.
